If you are as enthusiastic about welding, brazing, and soldering as we are, then write for us. Just review these criteria and send us a note with a proposed topic. There is no charge to publish on the weldinghandbook.com site.
Topics
All articles must be directly related to welding, brazing or soldering.
Preferred Length
Articles should be no less than 850 words. We prefer articles that are 1250 words or longer.
Pictures
Articles with pictures are preferred. We will include photos if you certify that the weldinghandbook.com has the rights to publish the photos. Original pictures are also preferred.
Originality and Quality
Articles must be original to the author and unpublished elsewhere. All submissions must pass a review by the Grammarly plagiarism tool and a Google search. We only post articles with a Grammarly score of 95 or higher. If you do not have Grammarly, we will make the necessary adjustments. We reserve the right to edit articles. At your request, we can share for input before posting.
We reserve the right to reject any article that does not meet our editorial quality standards. We will give the author an opportunity to make any necessary revisions.
Format
Articles should start with a brief summary paragraph followed by the body of the piece.
Links
Articles can have up to three links. We suggest one link to an industry resource and another should point to a page on the Welding Handbook site. All links will be “do follow” and must link to a site that is relevant to the article being published.
Authorship
We will gladly list the name of the author plus one link to a location that is relevant to the article.
